Lea and Donovan are back to talk about two issues that have recently cropped up either in social media or the news. One deals with a doctor that is trying to get an initiative on the ballot in Colorado that would make it illegal to knowingly sell a smart phone for use by a child 13 years of age and younger. His reasoning, though sound, isn’t something that government should be responsible for, but the parents should be.
Another story deals with a father of a 3 year old that uses a harness-leash combo to keep his child safe. Some parents get it, some parents think it’s demeaning. Lea explains why she did exactly the same thing when their children were growing up and both Donovan and Lea didn’t care what other parents thought. Bottom line: their children’s safety was a priority.
The couple pose the question to everyone — do you think a child 13 years or younger should have a smart phone? Take the poll here.
